Formby Beach

Today’s excursion was a visit to Formby Beach. The national trust have a red squirrel sanctuary here too but we just kept to the beach today. Initially it was hailing and absolutely freezing. After a couple of coffees in the car the hail disappeared and we ventured out. They dogs were in their element and I managed to take about 100 shots. However, when I returned home and looked them in Aperture they were full of dust from the cameras sensor :( Have spent the last 30 minutes doing my best to clean it but I’m sure I only moved it from one place to another. Does anyone have a secret method for cleaning their cameras sensor?

Found a image from a few months ago where we went walking in Derbyshire. Just after the picture was taken the heavens opened and we were soaked. Typical of the moors, one minute it’s fine and the next it’s raining, misty and freezing. It was so cold that one of the dogs wouldn’t walk anymore and I had to place him inside my jacket.

Anyway, the picture is now converted to black and white with Silver Efex Pro.
