Woody Flickr
Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 18:29 Yeah! One of my photographs made it onto the Flickr Explore pages. A big thank to all who commented and added it as a favourite on Flickr :)
I was literally showered in wood as Mark kicked these mulched rodidendrums trees at me.

Friday, October 24, 2008 at 10:13 My brother is over from Australia & is now victim to the lens. If he moves I shoot. I’ve been importing into Aperture and then creating Black & White image using Nik software’s Silver Efx Pro.

Black & Black & White
Friday, August 29, 2008 at 15:03 Paul is one of my many nephew’s who is often bribed into posing for Star Wars figures or, if I’m extremely lucky, a trip to the park. Here we used a black background sheet & lit the subject with two Nikon strobes (One Key & one fill). I find these dark black & white shots particularly beautiful and often wonder why we don’t all shoot in black & white more often.

Sunday, June 29, 2008 at 12:47 Photo shoot with Oli and his new guitar. Reminded me of the music practice I had to do when I used to play the trumpet. At least I can still remember to read music but the trumpet doesn’t sound so hot these days. For this session I used a Lastolite EzyBox Hotshoe. I really like the quality of these products and might invest in a 60x60 as an addition to my little 38x38 cm one. After the shoot I imported into Aperture then edited in Photoshop with a final PhotoTools filter.

Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 16:09 A quick trip to the park and through the round window of the pirate castle we have Mark. Although I’d taken many shots only this one seemed to capture his cheeky playfulness

Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 09:12 Traveled to see friends on Monday for a ‘South African’ style barbecue. Mainly ate burnt delights and drank a few posh Belgium beers whilst also finding the time to take a few pictures of their cute widdle girl.
